On April 6th, 2017, MD took the stage at the Delil Academy school concert. The concert took place in Dangriga Town at the Catholic Parish. MD took the stage leading the three schools gathered in worship. The atmosphere was charged with the presence of God as Mervin encouraged the youths to “Let Go and LET GOD” take control of every area of their lives that isn’t in alignment with God. During the worship session, MD shared his experience with letting Go of negative music as a 19-year-old youth at the leading of the Holy Spirit and trusting God to fill those areas up with better music. MD later went on to perform his hit single “Take The Praises Higher.” Needless to say, the entire church was charged with the soca melody, and youths were dancing and having fun in the soca worship style.
