Mervin Budram – MD, a Christian paranda fusion artist from Belize was featured on volume 2 of the Goodness Riddim produced by Trinidadian producer, Judah Peters. The Goodness Riddim Vol 2 is the second edition of a compilation album that features Gospel artists from around the world such as Samuel Medas, Positive, Emrand Henry, Judah Peters, Blessed Messenger, DBA, DJ Zeal, Wisdom & Crow of Victory to name a few.
When Mervin Budram – MD received the riddim, he had intentions to write about the fire of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, but as he sat in his office, the presence of God rested on him and he began to weep as He felt a burden for the lost, broken and destitute in the world. At that moment and with the prompting of the Holy Spirit, MD began to pen the lyrics for ‘Send Me I’ll Go,’ an anthem that encouraged Christians throughout the world to remember the Great Commission to go into all the earth and preach the gospel of Jesus.
MD drew inspiration from scriptures in the bible such as Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation,” as well as Isaiah 61:1 “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners…”
MD also drew inspiration from one of his favorite movies, the Black Panther as he incorporated African-like chants in the bridge of the song.

The Goodness Riddim was produced by Judah Peters RSR, CEO and Head Music Producer of Redemptions Studios from Trinidad & Tobago. This Compilation Album with 7 Songs, featuring 8 Artiste, from 6 different Nations is quickly making its way around the world as DJs. and listeners are listening and sharing stories, and testimonies through music. This project was birthed in July 2021 and reflects God’s goodness towards us, especially throughout a pandemic.
