It was an honor for Mervin Budram to speak to the students of OLOG High School on the topic of unforgiveness. Unforgiveness is a powerful emotion that can have a lasting effect on our lives. It can be a result of any type of hurt or wrong that has been done to us, whether intentional or otherwise.
Unforgiveness can lead to a variety of negative emotions, such as anger, bitterness, resentment, and sadness. It can also lead to physical problems such as stress, insomnia, and high blood pressure. Unforgiveness can lead to a cycle of negative emotions and behaviors, as it can cause us to be guarded and untrusting of others.
The most important thing to remember when it comes to unforgiveness is that it does not serve us. Unforgiveness keeps us stuck in the past and prevents us from moving forward and truly living our lives. It can also prevent us from experiencing joy and peace in our present lives.
We are so grateful that Jesus gave us the gift of FORGIVENESS. Forgiveness is a powerful tool that can be used to improve relationships, renew hope, and restore balance. It is an act of courage that can help us move past difficult moments and find peace. It can be hard to forgive someone who has hurt us deeply, but it can also be a surprisingly liberating experience.
Forgiveness doesn’t mean that we accept or condone the hurtful behavior of others. It just means that we are willing to let go of the negative feelings associated with the hurt so that we can move forward in our lives. It allows us to find closure, release anger and resentment, and make room for forgiveness, understanding, and compassion.
